Job Summary
The Staff Accountant will be responsible for handling day-to-day accounting operations, preparing financial reports, maintaining accurate records, and assisting with month-end and year-end closing processes. Key Responsibilities
Prepare and maintain financial records, reports, and general ledger entries. Monitor accounts payable and accounts receivable activities to ensure timely processing. Reconcile bank statements, company accounts, and financial discrepancies when necessary. Assist with monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing procedures.
Support payroll processing and maintain employee financial documentation. Prepare expense reports and verify financial data accuracy. Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and tax-related documentation. Maintain compliance with accounting standards, company policies, and financial regulations.
Collaborate with internal departments to support financial operations and reporting needs. Assist management with financial analysis and other accounting-related projects when required.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred. Previous experience in accounting, bookkeeping, or financial administration is considered an advantage. Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting practices.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software such as QuickBooks, NetSuite, or similar platforms. Excellent organizational skills and strong attention to detail. Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines effectively. Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
Preferred Skills
Experience with payroll systems and tax preparation is a plus. Knowledge of U.S. accounting standards and financial compliance procedures. Ability to work independently while also contributing positively to a team environment.
